Is there any prospect of linking into rail transport from outside the resort without using roads? Tokyo has the Disney Resort Line connecting into Maihama Station, Paris has Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy station and Shanghai has Disneyland Resort line.

Not that I'm aware of yet.
Though I'd like to see Amtrak, Brightline, and SunRail provide direct service into the Transportation & Ticket Center.
