Linking Boardwalk tickets

Hello! My mom purchased my ticket through boardwalk ticketing. I had read here that the ticket was much like UCT and would link right up. I am using the code provided in the email she received and it will not attach to my MDE. Is it now linked to her email (she doesn’t have her own MDE account) or is there something else I can try. We have never used this ticket carrier before. TIA

The ticket should look like any other Disney ticket(that's how undercover tourists is) and have a barcode and number. That's the number you need.
