History of the world!
This game takes some getting used to, but it's great for those who have active imaginations!
Here's how it works:
You give me 3 variables and I have to tell you a story immediately using that information. No time for thinking, points off for hesitation over 15 seconds and for every use of "uh" or "um". If you want to get really strict, you can include a time limit on the actual story.
How it's played (Example):
Sally - "Joe, I want you to tell me the history of (1st variable - example) lawn mower, including (2nd variable) Bill Clinton and (third variable) a lion."
Joe - "Well, Hillary and Bill were sitting around in the white house, when a lion lept from the from lawn in through the window, shattering it and landing right on Bill! Hillary and the secret sevice men all pulled out thier guns and fired on the lion, finally killing it. But it was too late for poor Bill. As you can imagine, Congress (and Hillary) were pretty upset about this, so they sat down and tried to figure out what went wrong. Turns out there was a varitable jungle in the front yard of the White House! The grass was so high, something had to be done. So they called on all the engineers to design something to cut grass. They saw 300 different contraptions, but none of them could handle the load. Then Hillary tried her hand at it and built the world's first effective lawn mower, cutting down the jungle in the front yard."
Whoever has the most "points" in the end, gets to pick the seats (front vs rear). :sohappy:
Suggestions of rules would be:
No histories where "god" or "aliens" intervene.
One of the variables must be a person, or a living thing.
One of the variables must be a "history of _______"
And if there are little kids around, be careful what sort of "history" or "variables" you give out!
