I didn't care for it and wouldn't go back to see it unless I was with someone who hadn't seen it.

It was OK, but I'll only go back every couple of years, its not one of my must see's. Any young boy would love it though.

My husband and I loved it! (were both in our early 40's.) We actually made special plans to go back to MGM so we could watch it again. Yes, it is noisy, but oh so worth it!

I'm a fan of cars, and found the show interesting the first time. After that though, it got pretty dull and I felt like I had wasted time that could have been better spent on other rides. The theater seems to seat the whole park.

I saw it with my nieces who were 4 and 6. They didn't seem to seem to be scared at all, it was just loud.

On a different note, I wasn't overly taken with this attraction, is it there to stay or is it more or less temporary?

There's a lot of money in that grandstand and the stage. I would assume it's permenant. I've never heard anything about it being temporary.

I don't see why you all are so down on this show. It's a wonderful show. It may not be something I'd see over and over and over if I was able to go to the park several times a year, but the majority of Disney guests don't get there that often and in those situations it's a great show.

If you like car chases you'll be impressed with the show. I thought it was wonderful. My wife liked it but wasn't real impressed but she'd rather see the cast of Friends than explosions and jumps any day.

It's not that I am down on the show, I just don't like it, it's not something I care for, it's a matter of taste/preference. I do happen to love the Indy stunt show though and love going to see it.

I also realize what it takes for these guys to do the stunts in LMA, they aren't easy and they take tons of practice and can be quite dangerous, but still it doesn't change my opinion of the show. Everyone has likes and dislikes and this I dislike, plain and simple.

The problem with LMAX is that it is a rather tame motorsport event. You can go to your local civic center and see the U.S. Hot Rod Association Thunder Nationals and get twice the entertainment value. There are many other motorsport events that are faster, bigger, better and have more stunts than LMAX.

If you're into that sort of entertainment, you can see Monster Jam on TV. I saw LMAX once but I would never spend more time watching that show.

It's not just the stunts that make this show however. It also shows how they do certain things to make it work in the movies. It's a mixture of a stunt show and a movie demonstration (which makes it fit perfectly at MGM). I don't enjoy Monster Jam or any of those things on tv. They bore me. This to me was perfect. Maybe I'm just easily entertained.

I just don't find repeated "instant replay" (which is actually old stock digital images) very much fun. Kids enjoy it. I tired of it quickly.

"Ok folks, look at the monitors and you'll see what you just saw!" How thrilling. :lol: They could cut that show down to 10 minutes IMO. :wave:

Actually, they can't cut that down to 10 minutes...they use the video screens and replays to cover for the scene changes...the ultimate scene change takes 11 minutes...during that time, you get Herbie, you get several video replays, you get the final banter, you get the video of the "putting it all together sequence"...Remember that this was an attraction developed in PARIS, not in the USA, and there are no such thing as "monster jams" or "hotrod shows" in France.

Well then, they could cut some scenes to make it shorter. It's kind of long.
