OK my son is 3 going on 4 and he loves cars and motorcycles I just want to know if this show would scare him (like the fire, or noise) but keep in mind he loves car and motorcycles

It is definitely noisy and there is a little fire....but if he loves cars and motorcyclyes...he should love the show. It's a very cool show. Again, it is loud though....mostly the exhausts

I have seen posts in this forum from people that don't like this show. I don't know why...maybe it isn't "Disney" enough for them, but for me this show was INCREDIBLE. My favorite Disney show ever bar none. Anyone that is into cars and bikes simply must see it, no question. I should add that there are explosions and fake gunfire, but the noisiest thing out there are the cars...they don't have mufflers.

I didn't care for it and wouldn't go back to see it unless I was with someone who hadn't seen it. If he loves cars, he will love the show.

This is definitely a show aimed at the male gender, and being that I am of that gender, I loved this show.

I think it'll be fine for a 4 year old. You sit in a large grandstand and all of the fire and the like are a good distance away.

go on the backlot tour coz that goes past LMA and you get to see the cars and stuff and just say to him there will be loud noises and fire and if hes cool with that go and watch it. they ask for a volunteer from the audience -it would be cool if your boy got picked coz they get to remote control a car and if that happened to him he would have such a huge smile on his face.

IMO i really did like the show what with the car chases and stuff a little boy would love it.

get a fast pass for it!!

let me add that ANY gender would like the show. i saw it 3 times when i was there in may '05 and thought it was ace!!

I didn't think the show was that great but my 2 year old son loved it. Especially the motorcycles!
Because of him, we will be seeing it again in 2 weeks.

My 4 year old DAUGHTER (turned 4 during the trip) loved LMA, as did our 8 year old son. As a motorsports guy, I loved it. My wife thought it was interesting, but said she'd not want to stand in line for it again. The kids want to do it again, so we definitly will!

I absolutly loved LMA, it is noisey, and in my opinion on of the best things to happen to MGM in a long time. You son will love it as well. Anyone who dosen't like this, dosen't appreciate how much work goes into creating these stunts for films.

My 3 yr old nephew LOVES the show. He calls it "The Car Show" and every time he sees an add for it he says "The Red Car" and he really likes the part where Herbie comes out! Very cool show, you'll all love it. A fastpass is a good idea. My boys 16 and 13 really liked it too.

lights,motors,etc.

 Go but get a fastpass. Long, long lines. Explain to your son about the noise and fire. I think it is probably exciting enough for him to ignore that. I wouldnt stand in line again for it. It is amazing, though.:animwink: :animwink:

I thought the show was amazing and I would see it a million times. There is a lot of noise but I don't think it would scare your little one. It is mostly exhaust noise as someone mentioned earlier. Definately see it!

I LOVE the show (I'm only the keeper of it!) and I'm a 21 year old female. Then again, my dad brought me up to love action movies, nice cars, and motorcycles (except he won't let me get my motorcycle license?)

There isn't a WHOLE lot of fire, and there's more than just bikes and cars. There's also water vehicles! The loudest thing is the motorcycles, but they sound like a REALLY loud bee buzzing.

I have video of it, so if you want, I can upload it to YouTube or something and you can be the judge.

they didn't run the jetski portion of the show for some reason the day I was there but it was still worth it.

I've got a great picture of that show. Let me find it and I'll post it up here.

Most of the time, the reason is that the water is too dirty, and they don't want to jetski to get messed up on the insides.

The show is terrific - imported from Paris where is was designed to appeal to the VERY cinema-addicted French audience, it is filled with car stunts, motorcycle stunts, and in good weather jetski stunts. THere are explosions and loud car-revving noises. These are the types of things that most young boys will overlook in scariness as they are all based on the cool car effects.

I loved the show in Paris - and I love the show in FLorida. Your son will love the show as well. I LOVED the idea of someone posting above to take the tram tour and point out the show (you pass right behind it) and judge your childs interest level.
