Cost a lot of money: about $2.50 per line skip for me.
Had to get up early to book: day 1 got up 20 mins earlier than I would have for rope drop. Day 2 got up around 8:15am without an alarm.
was on phone all day. 5-10 mins per LL. Almost always just in the LL line.
criss crossing the parks: actually I was pretty linear. Not everything was a LL
Day 1 8am-10pm: Rat>figment> soarin(LL)>nemo> guardians> gran fiesta>frozen(LL)>SSE(LL)>KS(LL)>FotLK(LL)>Everest> Navi(LL)>MMRR(LL)>Rnrc(LL)>Tot(LL)> Harmonius

Sorry, if you believe that. If it matters at all to you I actually really miss FP+. Money aside I do think it was the better system. I just think people reading the forums should understand what is capable with G+ so they can be better informed on their decision to buy or not.
Overall I have used it 3 times at Wdw and 2 times at DLR. Ultimately it made all 5 days awesome and I felt the system was worth it.

I honestly think it's very easy to get something "acceptable" at an acceptable time with 5-10 mins of refreshing( aka while waiting in line). As an example look what popped up on a single refresh. Just now.

You got Genie+ for every ride in HS 3 times and rode rotr 7 times! And you didnāt get to the park until 3pm.

I was pointing out the 8:25 SDD... I'm not constantly on my phone, but which sold out G+ ride would you like to see a LL for tonight? I thought SDD would be the most difficult but I managed to see that pop up already.
Edit: going to enjoy the rest of my evening. But attached are a MFSR, MMRR, and RnRC all within 22 mins of the screenshot and all from 7:16pm to 7:18pm. So 2 minutes of refreshing

Well you can only get 1 Genie per ride
so your sarcasm is really not funny but thats just one mans opinionā¦ but my past trip we literally got a Genie for every ride and considering rides were constantly going down definitely helped add to the extra Genies to use along w DASā¦ but Genie was night and day vs my 1st time using itOk.....in all honesty...........I can see how you COULD potentially get a Genie+ selection for every ride on a moderate to slow day (say 7/10 or less) but that would require you being in the park from open to close and also require you to refresh A LOT during the day, never mind the cost of having to purchase Genie+ and ILL...............I just dont think thats realistic for most people, especially those with young kidsWell you can only get 1 Genie per ride
I just think the system has MAJOR flaws
whats so funny? i like to stir the pot to get conversation going but im not an idiot.......
I have used genie+ enough to know its intricacies and to know its a terrible product
You would need a perfect scenario to have it work that way (which doesn't happen hardly ever)
you would need to get early return times, use your selection, then rinse and repeat
Problem is, this strategy only works for early risers on slow days and thats not how most people tour the parks
and thats def not how those posters were describing their day

I canāt help but just continue to feel cost and implantation asideā¦.this much planning shouldnāt be remotely necessary to enjoy a trip.
It really hammers home the lack of capacity compared to attendance the parks face.
Edit- I think my point is validated by disney itself guardians and rat both donāt have nearly the same problems as other new rides have at other parksā¦. Epcot isnāt straining under capacity problems (on paper I mean) the other three parks with MGM being the worst are likely considerably under capacity related to attendance.
I donāt mean to beat a dead horse but I feel like people smarter than me could graph attendance with capacity and find some kind of sweet spot for guest experiences. Including shows each park probably has a solid number you could come to for how many guests can do anything at any given time. A ridership for the entire park if you will. Honestly although harder to calculate restaurants and stores also likely contribute as those technically are capacity just not attraction capacity. If Iām eating in a restaurant I am not in line anywhere. The restaurant is still overall park capacity.
Stores are likely more convoluted however in a similar vein they MUST play a factor. Epcot is proof. That park does not have attraction capacity that is unusually high or different from the other parks yet it doesnāt seem to bend to the same issues as the other three parks. (In this vein frozen is likely an outlier as the only ākiddieā ride in showcase for how many years?)
This tells me that Epcots massive abundance of stores and restaurants absolutely plays into a parks capacity.
Furthermore I would argue this solidifys the need for functional fleshed out lands or expansions and not the (,capacity wise) abomination that is galaxyās edge. Galaxyās edge has to be one of the most wasteful land utilization ratios resort wide.
As an example of the type of changes that would actually help a park-
magic kingdom probably in our āfantasy landā needs a massively wider Main Street filled with stores twice as large and deep as well as more dining. As much as I critique tron it is a net gain however it will likely result in more attendance gain than it actually adds in capacity and thus makes our ratio worse.
The problems the parks are facing cannot be fixed easily or without massive cap x and tearing down and redoing integrally important pieces of the parks. Things like closing entire lands arguably needs to occur. To allow entire redesigns.
Or we can just raise prices at a steeper gradient than ever before and hope we lower attendance to whatever that sweet spot i aforementioned is.

What's so funny to me is you refuse to accept that someone might have been able to use the system better than you.
Literally last night I showed the following screen shots:
At 6:08 a SDD for 8:25
At 7:16 a 730 mmrr and 7:35 rnrc
At 7:18 a 740 mfsr
Imagine a full 12 hour day of doing that. It's not hard to get a LL for everything in Epcot,DHS, or AK. Magic has so many attractions I would be impressed but I do think it's possible.
