Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Bahhhhh… MMRR and EE were beautiful, fast-loading rides that this will absolutely foul up.

These last weeks have shown how great it is to have one, simple, continuously moving line for rides.

I suspect that the number of people paying for Everest will be miniscule compared to free FP+ users.

Anyone paying to ride WDWs version of Space Mountain should also get a complimentary meeting with a financial planner who will talk some sense into them.

Yeah that’s great, but other people will making the standby lines unbearable.

It will be pay or don’t ride at all unless you can stand 2 hour lines.
Standby lines almost never hit 2 hours even when 100% of guests had access to FastPass.

I guess it was not about the rides with the longest lines lol. I planned to buy 4 anyway. Now instead of Slinky I buy MMRR. I do not agree with which ones they made IAS. Frozen makes no sense either.

At Animal Kingdom, a full 1/3 of the rides (not counting shows) are in the ILL category (best acronym since Laugh Floor?)

That's only if at least one other ride isn't under refurbishment.

Now, I know they'll still have standby, and ILL users may be minimal, but it's still a bit striking.

Quality is irrelevant, demand is all that matters.

oh let people vacation how they want, geezus.

We will definitely try out Lightning Lane for at least one of our days. Doesn't seem like we will need to purchase IAS - our crowd levels are predicted as 1s.
Yeah…but you’re there all the time, right? So why pay in low/moderate crowds?

Sooooo the max of two a la carte per day is across all four parks? You can't do two in one park, park hop and do two others in park #2?

Also, Individual Lightning Lane nomenclature makes me ILL. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

No....you've asked me this before. This is our first time back since 2017. Before that was 2014. Before that was 2011. Before that was 2000. Before that was 1983.

But, if crowds are as low as predicted, no, we probably won't buy it except to try for one day out of curiosity. We have no issue standing in 60 minute lines for headliners and 20-30 minute lines for the little guys.
