Not quite per se. I found Splash Mountain easy to book even at 30 days out back in the FP+ days.

I think the demand for Bayou Adventure will initially far out pace Splash. I'll be a resort guest so it'll work out for me. Hopefully some times will be held back to drop 3 days out for others

Single Pass and Multi Pass where Multi Pass won't get you the Single Pass attractions make so much sense.

IMO it actually makes more sense from a point of purchase perspective. It's not perfect, as they should ditch ILL altogether, but it does make sense.

When this was originally talked about, it was looking as though you would be able to book some in advance, and then continue with the current method of getting them at 7 o'clock onwards, but it looks as though this is no longer the case.

Do we know whether, if you don't book in advance, you could continue to stack with the current method (although with less of a choice as slots would have been taken by others in advance), or would you just be able to book the 3 on the day, and nothing else until you start to use?

I assume it's going to work the same 7 days out, 1 day out, 1 hour out, or 11am the day of. You log in to the APP, select three attractions (you get to preview availability) into your "cart" and purchase the pass. So when you are purchasing you are guaranteed your selections before you pay.

I THINK you might be able to book another Tier 1 after you've used any one of the others, regardless of Tiers.

Essentially, I believe the tiering only applies during the pre-booking window.

The most popular attraction in each park is on the $LL list. I could see them moving TBA to it.

Granted, that may seem like a bad idea to make TBA an additional fee. So, from that optics standpoint I could be wrong.

This is a fantastic change for power users.

You can book #1, #2, #3 at 7 days out. Pick all early return times if possible.

Then you essentially have three tracks of use/rebook. Assuming you can tinker with return times and refreshing.

Book SDD, ToT, Star Tours as early as possible (assuming you get there at park open). Rope drop something. Get into any attraction ASAP and attempt to book another Tier 1 attraction if available.

I still think anyone believing this will actually be better than Genie+ is horribly mistaken. This was only acceptable when it was a free service. Pre-booking potentially wiping out the value of a day-of or non-resort purchase of the service is going to be a train wreck.

Pre-booking will help the planners and I am understanding you can always carry a balance of three (i.e., get a new one as soon as you use one without a time restriction)?

I wonder if the bots will still be a problem with the single, day of pass.

Will you have to burn Tier 1 to book another Tier 1? Or could you ride a 9am Tier 2 and then same-day the tiers disappear and you can book whatever you want as your number 4?

Not sure but I don't see any mention that you can only hold one T1 attraction at a time. I think once you use 1 and go to book another everything is fair game?

Party size shouldn't matter, Genie+ shows the same availability regardless of party size (up to 12 I think).

Here's what Disney says:

Once you redeem a selection on the day of your park visit, you can choose another multi pass experience from either group (subject to availability).

If you have valid admission with the Park Hopper option, you could even choose a multi pass experience in a different theme park (subject to availability).

As i have said. FP worked for me and Genie may have worked even better…

No it won't for two reasons. This is a resort guest perk, so that's big as @PREMiERdrum mentioned. The second is that when you go to purchase this, you see what is available before you purchase. So day of guests can see what they are spending cash on before they buy.

…thank you…I’m sure the euphoria will dissipate for some soon.

Reminder: the parks are underequipped and terribly run with incessant price increases.

To suggest any “app magic wand” can change any of that is gonna be met with failure.
