Getting ready to head down to WDW in a few weeks, first time purchasing the LL daily pass.

How often do they run out of a LL pass for an attraction during the course of the day? Is it a common occurrence.?

Which rides does this normally happen on?

Any tips to using this new service?

Thanks in advance....

My suggestion is to check your Disney World app frequently until you leave. You'll get a pretty good idea regarding which rides tend to sell out (and how quickly) and which ones might linger a bit.

Added to which, a good starting point is to look at the rides that sold out of G+ / FP+ . The Tier 1 rides are designated as such for a reason.

Daily. yes. (or mostly yes) It is a bit complicated.

The way it is set up now, you kinda have to buy it in advance if you want to get the most LL's out of it.

While tier 1 rides do pop up same day, you will have better times and better odds of getting more top tier rides/LL's if you book as soon as you are eligible. To get the highest number of passes with LLMP, you'll want to book at least 1 morning return time. Once you redeem a pass, then you can book another pass, but only if that ride is available.

There's a good deal of information already posted on the topic of how to get the most passes out of it, including answers to the questions you ask above, and lots of tips!

As far as tips for using them go, be aware that MDE will prevent overlaps by more than around 25 minutes initially.

Take the time when booking to modify to the best times you can get, much easier than waiting.

In the day, once you tap into your first, whatever tier that is, all restrictions are lifted. You can then attempt to modify to all tier 1 rides, with a much bigger overlap permitted. And if you have an AP of park hopper, you can make them for a mix of parks.

If you let your first expire unused, you can book another but the restrictions remain until you actually tap in to an LL. So there’s no point in making your first one earlier than you realistically anticipate being in the park.

If you are planning to park hop, you can pre-book at your second park if you wish. But that means you are stuck with the restrictions until you use your first one.
