Lifetime Passes

we get out ID's, which get us into the US parks and Paris, and our Blue Maingate Passes or Silver passes (depending on your job and seniority) which gets guests into the parks.

Are you sure CM IDs get you into the Paris parks? When we went in 1998, our IDs didn't work -- 2 Disney Store CMs, 1 WDW CM. Only CMs who worked in France got into the Paris parks for free.

If they changed it, that stinks for us, as we just gave up our Disney Store jobs recently!

A friend of my mothers worked for WDW for 24 years, she has a pass that can get her into WDW and 6 other people in a day free. I heard if you work for WDW for 15 consecutive years you get a lifetime pass. I get to cat sit for her starting tommorow and she has all this cool disney stuff in her house from 1971 and on.

Reviving an old thread here

This discussion came up on our last trip. What would you pay for a lifetime pass? Just how much would you be willing to fork over for it? We said that the pass would be absolutely non-transferable--if you die, the pass is void. No passing it along to your children upon your ultimate demise.....

So, how much would you pony up for it?
$10,000?
$15,000?

Hm, maybe we can find that one person who works for Disney and who wants Esiner dead, find him and tell him whats up, maybe we could get that pass from him/her.

Eh, I'll just continue to use my ID....er, once I go back to work, for now Ill just use my Annual Pass....

NOTE: That person I mentioned before is me, so find me, tell me your plan to assasinate em, and Ill had you the pass....once the job is done of course :D

My family knows a couple people who have lifetime passes. They got them for various reason, like a lawyer who represented Disney, one of the first people in Magic Kingdom, etc..they can also get other people in with their passes, I wish I had one!

$10,000?

that a bit nuts. You can buy a $300.00 annual pass for 34 years for that anount.

Honestly,
I think a fair price for a "LIFETIME" pass is $1,500.

Think about it. They will still make money on your food, drinks, souveniers. EVERYTHING! And, it is likely that you will go more often. AND SPEND MORE! If you have it in your head "I REALLY WANT THAT DISNEY SOUVENIER BUT ITS $50.00! You think to yourself "Oh well I GOT IN FOR FREE, THATS $50.00 RIGHT THERE!.

Know what I mean?

$1500?? I'd snatch up four of them really quick for that amount. Considering the price it is right now to get into the park for one day, $1500 would be a real bargain. And if you bought for your kids, then it turns into a bigger bargain. $10000 might seem high for us old dudes, but it could easily pay off for our youngsters.

And you make a good point about food and souvenir profits. Just think of all the snowglobes I could buy with my "free" entrance!

nope.. the only way a CM will get in for free forever is if they retire with the company... then they get a retired ID and maingate pass
