Liberty Tree Tavern or Crystal Palace for dinner?

I've never been to Crystal Palace, but we thoroughly enjoyed LTT a couple weeks ago when we tried it for the first time and we will definitely go back.

I'm more partial to LTT's lunch menu so I would choose CP for dinner. Then you can get pictures with characters while wearing your Halloween costume as insurance if the lines are too long later. ;) But really, it depends what you're feeling: thanksgiving fare or a little bit or everything.

The only reason I would see to go to the Crystal Palace would be if you want the character dining of Pooh and the gang. For the food.... Definitely LTT.

The LTT dinner is wonderful but be sure to eat very little beforehand or just enough to keep you going during the day before dinner. You get a LOT of food.

Neither?
If you're paying for the party, you'll want to be out there enjoying the atmosphere.
Grab a hotdog and go.

Liberty Tree is more classic American food served family style. We Crystal palace is a buffet. Both are Character meals. LT has Chip and Dale, Minnie and Goofy. Buffets give you a better chance to try different foods and it is all you can eat.

Crystal Palace if you care about Character Dining. Be mindful that this is a very popular dining location, and landing reservations here can be a bit hard.

Liberty Tree Tavern, next to BoG is probably the best restaurant at MK. It's like having a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. It's awesome, and believe me, you'll leave stuffed.

Overall:

If you care about characters: Crystal Palace

Better food and service: Liberty Tree

Agree with @Marc Gil 100%.

Crystal Palace dining is... decent. The characters are definitely the selling point. It's certainly fun to go, but the food is nothing to write home about.

My wife and I have made a tradition of visiting Liberty Tree Tavern every time we visit Walt Disney World; the food is just flat out GOOOOOOD. It reminds me of home cookin'. You WILL leave absolutely stuffed, @durangojim , and IMO, it's better than a buffet because you don't have to get up and serve yourself... they bring it to you. ;)
AAAAAAND now I'm hungry.

I thought LTT removed the characters a couple years ago?
