Liberty Tree Tavern Lunch moves to family buffet style?

I read on another site that shall not be named that Liberty Tree Tavern has removed the pot roast and several sandwich entree options for lunch and instead has moved to the same family style buffet you get at dinner.

Official menu on WDW site shows the "all you care to eat" listed for lunch but also a handful of À la Carte items - but NOT the pot roast:

I am not at the park but there were photos of the new menu posted elsewhere on the web. Perhaps someone in-park can confirm with more information.

Makes no sense. Pot roast is still on the kid's menu and dinner menu is bare. Hope it's a bad web posting.
I did a quick twitter search and didn't see any other photos of the menu I could share. But the website that shall not be named has menu pics of the revised menu, which is excluding several favorites. (Matching the official disneyworld.com website) Looks like the change happened today which is why the news isn't out there everywhere yet. :(

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
All my favorites are still there for lunch. Love the crab dip, freedom pasta, and beloved ooey gooey toffee cake! No biggy to me as long as most of those items are still there. :cat:

I just had the perfect lunch of clam chowder, pot roast, and ooey gooey. Sorry to hear that I can't do that anymore . . .

For those of you that miss it let's hope it's just a mix up or it was accidentally left off, or that they bring it back at some point. :)

I had reserved a lunch ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern on December 13 at 11:00 AM and once I read about their menu changes I cancelled it right away. My favorite thing to order for lunch was the Pilgrims' Feast and last time I was there in August 2016, a manager came by asked how it was and I said it was their best value for any WDW restaurant.

We switched our Dec. ADR from dinner to lunch before the menu change. I'm happy to see the family style option at lunch but reeeaaalllyyyy hoping we can sub the Ooey Gooey for the dessert!!! I've been wanting to try it for so long!!

And I see that the Colony salad now has salmon instead of Chicken. Don't like that! Much as I love Ooey Gooey Toffee cake, I may skip this lunch now.

I have a reservation for the day before Thanksgiving and was planning on getting the turkey dinner and ooey gooey cake. I'm not happy that I will have to by $33 plus $8 if I want that now and have all the other food I don't want. I would have cancelled right away but the other couple we are going with really want to still eat here and they are excited about the all you can eat option. Maybe I'll just have the ooey gooey cake.

Part of me thinks that they should still offer the old menu to the people that had existing reservations because we originally wanted that menu, but I know that won't happen.
