Liberty Square - what should be done there?

.Look at me learning how to quote!
As an adult I love Liberty Square and I think this is one area on WDW property that they should never touch. It's ok to have one small area that doesn't appeal to the general audience, there's plenty other things for them to do! What about the grandparents who aren't interested in the thrill and dark rides, or any 'ride' at all? I remember going with my mom and being so mad at her for refusing to ride anything but Its A Small World! It still frustrates me to think about, but there are others like her out there! The older I get myself the more I appreciate LS and what Walt was trying to do by putting an area like this in his park!

QUOTE: I don't know if it would be possible, but it would be neat to have Hall of Presidents turned into a dark ride and take you through time from the birth of our country to present times.

I think a Spaceship Earth style dark ride where the guest leaves with a new found respect for US history is not a bad idea, but not in replace of the Hall of Presidents! Where will I take my nap? I think if they could build the path PAST the Haunted Mansion somehow (tricky I know, but w Disney nothing is impossible) put this idea of an attraction and then continue to a another American city from another time. I would love to think that one day there will be a complete loop around ROA that features several American towns. Think about it: we have Orleans in Disneyland, Liberty Square in Orlando. What about Savannah?

Also to the mention of other characters: I remember the old cartoon with Ben Franklin and the mouse who helped him discover electricity and wasn't there also a Johnny Appleseed as well? There are lots of American legends that could make for some cool attractions!

Liberty Square Dance Party with presidents!!:p
I actually think break dancing Presidents would be kinda cool. LOL

My personal (and unpopular) thoughts are to fill in ROA, plow under Tom Sawyer Island (wait...before you stone me), add one E-Ticket and maybe a D ticket ride and build an indoor Liberty Square neighborhood where Tom Sawyer Island was then build a new Tom Sawyer island on the roof above the new indoor area.
No disrespect. but this is BY FAR the worst idea I have read so far on this forum! The appeal of WDW was the size and that there's room for anything we can imagine, no need to bulldoze anything. I can't imagine LS or Frontierland without looking at them through the Rivers of America!

We love the new Muppets show at Liberty Square. I just wish the steamboat whistle would not go off at every 1:00 show.

We also asked about how they transform the Hall of Presidents when there is a change in administration. The cast member said they plan on closing the attraction sometime in January and will reopen in July. They usually refurbish the attraction between administrations. I wonder if the Donald will stand there and instead of reciting the oath of office, he'll just call everyone losers and talk about building walls surrounding the America pavilion at Epcot..

Right? Maybe he'll interrupt George Washington "Not True", or at the end of the show he'll take off his mask and it was Putin the whole time! I think the fact that I have to see him in my favorite place is the worst part of this election...
