Liberty Square Bridge refurbishment extended to Sept 2nd

The Liberty Square bridge refurbishment will be extended until September 2nd. No reason was given, but I assume there was more damage than was originally thought or they are already behind schedule especially with Fay delaying work tonight. Spectro will continue to be dark and DDCT will continue two performances until then.

The calendar still shows the Sept. 2nd Spectro parade...did this just recently come out on the portal or was it announced publicly?

It was sent by internal communication, not the portal or publically announced yet. I believe the bridge will be reopening on the 2nd not the 3rd.

Construction projects always have a bit of 'give' in them.. it may be before that, and they pushed it back a day just to be sure.
