Lets Toast These Donuts!

Good Morning Folks..As I put this thread on this morning,I'am watching news from Fox about this explosion in Texas,prayers go out to all involved in this incident.On my thread,today's food blog has these awesome goodies available at Terrortity lounge at WL. These Donuts are made with,wait for it,Butter,Maple Syrup,& Grand Marnier. Whits all that about? Now I am partial to Donuts over here, which are spelt Doughnuts.But have you had any donuts in WDW that are so unusual as these babies.? I must admit if anyone is off to WL soon I would be interested on their reviews on these Donuts.

Gee, Hatter, never crossed my mind to have a donut there. The most unusual one I've seen is available at a local grocery. When it popped in their case, it had a lot of people talking. A Maple long john with bacon on top of it. I think I would pass a donut for anything, so this won't make my must try list. I am totally going for the magic cookie bar, though.

Iam sure the Hess market at downtown had Dunkin Donuts.But I can't recall even the Main Street bakery doing them.

I saw the doughnuts on the menu at the WL lounge but never tried them. I had 2 glazed doughnuts at Main Street Bakery a few years ago, they tasted like Krispy Kreme doughnuts to me but I'm not sure where they were made.

This Territory Lounge at WL seems a bit of a secret and rarely crowded ( so says the reviewer ) But from the photos it looks kinda awesome..What a nice place for a quiet party amongst friends..A few cool beers,some shots,and a plate full of alcoholic donuts.Shhh..@figmentfan423 may be listening.

Well, I intend to get some goodies from Hess and no doubt my seven year old will make a beeline for the Dunkin' Donuts range, but then, only if he can beat his dad. I love doughnuts

As for the poor folks in Texas, having attended a few explosions in houses (one here this morning), I can only imagine how bad it would be in a factory, never mind one that deals in fertiliser.

The Territory Lounge is a great place to relax and have a few drinks.My wife and I were in there almost every night when we stayed at WL a few years ago. Thats were I tried my $30 shot of Macallan. Very friendly bartenders and a very relaxing atmosphere. Never tried the doughnuts though.

Typhoon Lagoon makes mini donuts at a little stand there in the park. They're served to you hot and fresh. I have never had them, but you better believe they are on my list for next month during our day at TL. You can also get "dipping sauces" to go along with them (chocolate, raspberry and white chocolate) They sound heavenly!!

$30 for a shot of Macallan..Thats £20 in my money..I hope it was a big shot,or at least the 25 year old Macallan .

I think it was 2.5 oz.and I believe it was 25 year.I would never spend that much again,it was my honeymoon so,why not.

I wish these were on the menu when we stayed there last year were not staying there this year, we can't even visit as it will be too upsetting. Honestly!
