Let's Talk WDW Cast Costumes

Which ones strike your fancy most? Which would you wear in a heartbeat, which would you refuse? Favorites? Least favorites?

Do you have any designs? Any ideas? Any changes you'd make? I'd love to see what your thoughts are. As for me, here's mine.

I'm a train lover, so naturally I LOVE what they've done with the WDWRR Costumes. They fit right in. Monorails however, I had designed a set that I feel would fit in better. I'd worn the new costumes, but I'm not fond of how..... stiff they look, I guess?

My favorite attractions costumes may have to be Haunted Mansion for sure, and I love the look of the FantasyLand garments as long as they fit properly (not too tight or loose) and they fit right in.

I get bored and design random things sometimes, and I designed a Skyliner costume and an updated Custodial. I understand they're universal, but I feel they need a little more color.

Kill those awful, terrifically unflattering poly-blend high-waisted pleated shorts they put a ton of female cast members in. It's not 1986, and they make everyone look dumpy (8th dwarf?) especially in loud, child-friendly primary colors.

A nice flat-front, midrise design would be a vast improvement.

YES, but I've seen them in all 4 parks- they aren't quite as ugly in khaki.

There are some great uniforms out there, Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion, and I loved the old blue Energy tunics with the red and orange sleeves. They looked uncomfortable, but neat.

ToT is another good one. Kinda like Jungle Cruise ones too.

I will say though, while highly visible, I feel like Parking could use a small update.

YES! I'd LOVE to take the Dapper Dan's wardrobe! They're always so unique but so pleasant to see!

I might be donning it soon enough... I'm not entirely FOND of ALL WHITE, but I imagine it'll be cooler on hot days... I'd actually designed one with a little more color. Simply color trim, but yanno.

I just recently saw the new Dinosaur costumes and I love them. The old ones made the CM's look like crash test dummies, but the news ones are a bit sleeker and look nicer.

Growing up, I always liked the dresses that the CMs wore at countries like Mexico and Germany and 'wanted to work there' so I could wear them too. Buuut I'm not Mexican or German so it was a short-lived dream.

Mandatory ironing and more replacement of faded uniforms would be welcomed...

Sometimes people look like they got their uniform out of the dirty clothes.

Other than that, I second giving the women some more flattering shorts that look less like they are wearing their Dad’s.

Storybook Circus. It’s supposed to look like a shirt (or maybe waistcoat) and coat with buttons and straps, but it’s just a flat colored shirt.

The new Dinosaur costume above has a bunch of straps that hold down nothing.
