Let's save One Man's Dream for the memory of Walt Disney !

I think its good to have some historical value in the park. I really wish they still had the artists working there. I remember as a kid thinking I was seeing magic being made it was one of the most memorable things I saw. Even if they didn't actually work on the art they could at least have classes and such going on. At Disneyland they have some small informal classes and these seemed hugely popular when I was there. Maybe it was to get out of the heat but still.

Yes we could but that is not the answer to the original posters problem with one mans dream going away in WDW.

Agreed. And it certainly is significant added expense to travel to San Francisco, especially with family, just to go to the museum. I wish I had known it was there in San Francisco the last time I was out there, and if I ever happen to be out there again, I'd like to go. However, as big a fan as I am, I probably wouldn't spend the money on a trip from the East Coast just to go to that museum.

That said, learning that it was intended to be a temporary display from the beginning makes a difference to me. Just like the sorcerers hat, it's eventually time to change it up because it was never meant to be permanent.

I would love to rotate in new pieces, perhaps a smaller overall display area, and incorporate that into the main street area of Walt Disney World.

I agree they can select what they want but something should be there and main street is a good idea.

What did I miss? Are they taking down One Man's Dream? That'd be a shame if they can't find space for a relatively small attraction based on the man who started it all.

As much as I love the attraction it at the same time reminds me of the horrid 100 Years of Magic celebration... Those were dark times.

At first I was disappointed about them removing this attraction that honors Walt Disney, the reason all of this is really here. I thought, "now there will be nothing to honor him with"....except the fact that it's called WALT DISNEY WORLD.;)

But threre should be more, it's a big place and a small space dedicated to such a large figure should not be hard to do.

The Disney Family lent many of the pieces, including office pieces, for what was supposed to be a temporary exhibition. Those should go back to the Disney Museum in San Fransico and it is where the family chose to place a museum. It's right for all Walt memorabilia to be in one place. It's s fitting tribute and everything being together gives a better idea of the man and his work rather than it being scattered around.

As for remembering Walt in WDW, he already is with the Partner's statue and the name of the place.
