Trip Report Let's Meet Up in Disney! Where Else Would We Go?

It's the night before Crystal and I fly from the Lehigh Valley to Disney, and we couldn't be more excited. Maddy applied for the Disney College Alumni Program and is currently spending her second consecutive summer making magic in Disney. Last year, she worked at Be Our Guest. This year, she works with the characters, mainly in Hollywood Studios, but she's been in Epcot, Typhoon Lagoon, and tomorrow she'll be in Magic Kingdom. She finished her second year at the University of South Carolina, and will be starting this fall at Northen Arizona University in Flagstaff.

Brayden graduated from Florida State University just a few weeks ago and is currently working in Peoria, Arizona. So what better place for all four of us to meet up? Plus, Brayden's girlfriend, Bella, will be joining us for her first trip to Disney in a very long time!

Looking forward to meeting up with Madelyn tomorrow, and Brayden and Bella July 2.

Enjoyed doing the dessert party at the last minute. It was great watching Happily Ever After for the first time this trip.

Walked out to 2 waiting buses to Riverside and only a handful of people on the bus. We move to Saratoga Springs in the morning. We’ve never stayed there, so we’re excited for the change. Brayden takes the red eye from Phoenix tomorrow night and Bella arrives early on the second. Can’t wait to have everyone here

Good morning. Maddy picked us up just after 830 from Riverside, and we’re all moved in at Saratoga Springs

Maddy has work in Hollywood soon. Crystal and I may get a workout in again this morning before relaxing by the pool.

Good Morning! We really enjoyed our stay at Saratoga Springs years ago. We spent quite a bit of time relaxing in the Turf Club Lounge. Plus, The Turf Club Bar and Grill is in our top ten best dining experiences. I am sure you are looking forward to Brayden's arrival everyone being together! Happy Tuesday!

Crystal and I walked to Splitsville for lunch. We hadn’t been there in many years. It was ok. Nothing special.

We finally got some pool time. It took us three pools to find a place to put our stuff down. The Congress Park pool was very crowded, as was the main pool area (no idea what it’s called) we ended up at the Paddock pool. Encountered this black snake along the way. I really dislike snakes. If it weren’t for Crystal, I would have stepped right on it

Made our way to Hollywood Studios. The line for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway was posted as 25, but it was actually empty inside

We made it through the cartoon and as we walked into the inside queue, an announcement was made that the ride was experiencing technical difficulties and we would get a free pass to use. So we went here

We then left as Maddy’s shift ended and returned to the resort. Going to do some shopping then get dinner. Crystal and I have Keys to the kingdom in the morning

Just found out Brayden’s flight is delayed over 2 hours. Now scheduled at 12:20 AM Phoenix time. Going to be a long day for him tomorrow.

Good morning. Brayden has landed safely in Orlando. After all the delays, he ended up landing less than 1 hour late!

Crystal and I are heading to Magic Kingdom soon for the Keys to the Kingdom tour.

Maddy and Brayden will head to MCO later this morning to get Bella who will fly in from Cleveland.

We have the Hollywood Studios after hours tonight, so its going to be a long day, but it will be great having everyone here!

Have you done KTTK your previously? We did it about 10-12 years ago and are planning to do it again next March. We enjoyed it and can't wait to see if there us much difference between the two.
