Let the planning begin

After a very rough almost 2 years we're finally able to start planning our next trip. Not sure if this is a multiple question for here or a very rough, very pre-TR. So if it has to be moved so be it. Last night my dh pulled out the calendar and said let's start planning. Not going until late July next year. It's the usual crazy cast of characters myself "slightly" Disney obsessed, my dh casual Disney fan, my older ds will be 22 (autistic) and my mini me- assistant planner son 14 at the time of travel. Seeing it's been way too long (June 2013) We're planning to really do it up bigish. We'll be driving down stopping one night and doing a day or 2 at Kennedy. Then we'll check into a condo, I know off sight but it's 4 br. and 3 baths for $111 a night (my ds and I have allergies so a kitchen is a big plus). 2 or 3 days over at Universal to check out the Potter stuff. Now here's were the plan is hitting a wall. 9 day park tickets with the water parks or 10 day basic park tickets? I know we'll need 3 MK days and book CP, BOG and the Plaza, 3 days in EPCOT other than SS and TC no plans for food yet, 2 days for DHS and we'll book a Fantasmic ding package, thinking HBD and at least one AK day. Either way we're going to have 2 days "off" DTD and the outlets! YEA shopping!!!!! If we do the 10th park day my younger ds wants AK my older DS wants DHS and my DH says EPCOT. What to do? Also what's something new we should do? Sorry for the long post and THNX

I'm a Florida Resident and have a seasonal pass so would be blocked out over the summer anyway. Only you know your budget but, for 9 days, I'd choose the park hopper with water parks. You can easily get the parks done in less than a week, leaving the other days for presumably rest. In July it will be HOT. Going to one or both water parks would be a great time to cool off. I just think 10 days straight parks gives you less choice for the length of time that you're there.
