Well, I went ahead and booked a room only reservation for Nov 7-11. :D We're currently booked in the Contemporary tower with a Bay Lake view. We'll have to see if room discounts are offered for these dates down the road. As much as I adore the Contemporary, we're still considering switching over to Boardwalk depending on what the discounts look like and how we feel about $ at the time.

I know it's going to be pretty crowded for these days since it's the tail end of F&W + I think it's also the end of Jersey week, but I think it will still be a blast (it is WDW after all!) + we'll get to see some of the early holiday décor/festivities by going at this time. We also plan on popping over to Universal for a day so we can check out everything Potter :)

215 days left to go!!!

Yayyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Last year it was crazy coo coo in Epcot, but we didn't think the other parks were too bad. Weather was great!! Was just a tad too chilly to hit the pools and swim, but that didn't stop us from sitting poolside with a bottle of wine at night, after the parks closed! :)

:) Wish I was going. We are working hard trying to pay off some stuff so saving is easier. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!![/QUOTE]

Right now I'm saying a lot of prayers that we're able to go on this trip. We've got some crazy stuff going on right now, but hopefully this is enough time for things to get back to normal. I wish you guys were going this year too, but hopefully 2015 :)

YAY!! Have a blast and it will be time to leave before you know it. We started our countdown at 96 days and we are currently 9 days away. It flew by!

You're so right! It always feels so long when you're in triple digits, but before you know it...it creeps up on you.

I really wish our trips could have lined up, but I'm starting to get a taste of how crazy work will be in October and to be perfectly honest...I'm terrified. :depressed: I'm fully expecting the WS to be bonkers, but we'll be at WDW :) Ah yes, I definitely see a number of post park closing beverages in our future :D

We're going on 4th-14th Nov & I had no idea about Jersey Week when we booked (I'd never heard of it), and we'll just skip Epcot the last weekend that F&W is on....but hey, I'll be at WDW- that's all that matters :)
Contemporary is on our bucket list. Hopefully one day ;)

Yay! It's always exciting to reserve that room and I was thinking you know you will be happy at CONT...I really loved being adjacent to it that weekend we were at BLT.

It's my fave, so unless things are really tight and I need to cut back on costs, it's where we will be. Even though this is a F&W trip, the convenience of the Contemporary for all of our other plans made it the winner.

This got me thinking...I should really try making Lapu Lapus at home! :geek:

I'm trying to decide between Spring Break, Fall Break and Christmas of 2015. Looking to rent points for AKL and so far based on dates that follow historical school dates looks like Christmas may actually be cheaper for the lodging anyways. Crazy!

I've heard that about point rentals...that sometimes Christmas winds up being cheaper. As for your school dates...I don't know. Hopefully your school calendar will be more consistent than ours. I've decided summer is going to be our only possibility if we want to rent points and have a chance at our top lodging options without praying for some last minute things.

It's funny because I grew up in NJ and never heard of Jersey week. I mean, I'm fully aware of the teacher's conference that causes the mass exodus, but I never knew anyone who went to WDW at that time. Now so many of the people I grew up with go during that week.

I haven't talked to you in forever it feels like. Any new updates?

I know...I feel like my life has been chaos of late. I can message you with some of the drama since I don't want to post it on here, but it's been consuming my life. As for vacay updates...I was able to secure the vacation days at work- so that's a victory and I'm trying to decide on some ADRs since 180 is quickly approaching.

Message me details if you want to vent. I'm here to listen. And I wanna hear what you are thinking for ADRs.

Well, ADR info is something I'll post for all to see :)

For dinners, I'm looking at Yachtsman, Citrico's, and Raglan Road. I want to pop up to Cali Grill, but I think we may just head up there for drinks and possibly a snack. I also had thought about Flying Fish or Jiko instead of Citrico's, but I've been wanting to do Citrico's for some time now...so I think it's time.

We have one night when we'll be over at Uni, so not sure what we want to do over there.

Depending on flight time, we may consider a lunch at Rose & Crown on our last day. We'll be drinking and eating around the world most days, but I may work in Columbia Harbor House or FP+ for BOG lunch on one day since I want to catch the new parade.

As for breakfast, DH may be sleeping in several days while I head to MK, so I'm thinking about hitting up Kona one day for Tonga Toast and GFC one day for lobster benedict. I would like to try and do one character breakfast, but I haven't decided which one and when. The finalists would be Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, and CRT...I'd also want him tagging along since my friend painted this hysterical picture of me posing for a pic with Pooh while Piglet takes the pic. i.e. since it's just me.

All sound terrific! You know me, I am breakfast fan when it comes to WDW so all of your ideas have my mouth watering. And how can your hubby sleep in? Ridiculous! ;)

I'm giving him the option since my mornings will likely be in MK and hitting things like IASW several times :D i.e. things he just really doesn't like. This way, he can sleep in and skip all of the stuff he's seen enough...then meet up with me for lunch or in the WS so the eating and drinking can commence. ;)
