Let’s pretend that the movies of the Disney “Dark Ages” (early 2000s) were HUGE hits. What rides would they have?

Emperor's New Groove roller coaster in South America at Animal Kingdom. It would have been a natural.

Or Yzma's Secret Lab roller coaster ride. It was in the movie!
The lab coaster would be 🔥.

Not sure if the empty lagoon was still there at the time, but 20,000 Leagues would have likely received a very cheap Atlantis overlay.

Yeah, there was actually a plan at one point to turn the submarine voyage into Atlantis Expedition. Apparently signs went up and everything due to a miscommunication and the imagineers had thought the project got green lighted but it hadn’t. I would’ve rather had Fire Mountain, the Atlantis attraction planned for Adventureland, instead of a cheap re-theme.

Always thought Chicken Little would make an excellent classic-Fantasyland dark ride--even as a box office bomb!

Atlantis would make for a stellar attraction as well, though that one is a bit more obvious.

Shame the movie didn't connect with audiences.
it did at least later on. I think it could happen if the movie got a huge increase in popularity like with hocus pocus, but it definitely should happen! an omnimover would also work well cause it keeps moving forward 😂

Not a disney movie but a dark ride based off the 2006 curious george movie could be absolutely Gorgeous. easily could have seen it doing the 2 1/2 d thing before runaway railway did.

That would have been a great upgrade concept for Universal if it was somehow a smash hit.

Also, if all 2000's animations were hits, that would make Titan AE valuable as a possibility of dark and gritty Alien Encounter level future somewhere in Tomorrowland because being a Fox property.
