What's up with the pricing and controlled availability of some of TDC's video library? I'm not talking about princess movies. Titles like "Charlie, The Lonesome Cougar", "Rascal", "The Scarecrow", "Johnny Tremain", etc. Heck, most anything that was shown singly or in serial form on Sunday nights. If I'm lucky, I can find Charlie for $18-22 USED, but a new copy, is $40 or more. Same with most of the other titles for anything that hasn't been a major animated film in the last 20-30 years. Let alone anything in a metal time with the word "Treasure" on it. Holy crap - having those go for $100-200 is just plain crazy.
Anyone know why this is the way it is? I can't imagine there isn't a large market for this stuff at appropriate prices and that the company hasn't thought about this.
