I love this gentle ride at Disneyland Paris.

What's your favourite scene?

I rather like the Peter and the Wolf bit and the Cave of Wonders.

I love how Casey Jnr trundles around you as you ride.

I believe it's actually Return to Oz... which makes me so happy.

I'm going for Sword in the Stone. Am I right in thinking this is the only place in any Disney park that film is directly referenced?

I absolutely adore this ride! It's one of my secret guilty pleasures.

I have a thing for the Mermaid scene. Probably because of the music sirening me in...
Wish they would have an Ariel figure though!

Belle is spectacular too.

It's amazing what you can do with miniaturisation, like walkthrough Aladdin, you can do so much with such a small footprint.

DLP also has The Sword in the Stone in front of the Carousel, where it is located in the American Magic Kingdoms too.

Merlin is also a major character in Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom.

DLP's version of this ride is great for all the elements you won't find in California's Storybookland Canal Boats:

- Peter & the Wolf
- Belle's Village & Beast's Castle
- The Emerald City
- Cave of Wonders [which I like better than Monstro]
- Night on Bald Mountain [!!]

Compare the list of titles with what was chosen for Shanghai's Voyage to the Crystal Grotto. That is much more conventional for a modern Disney attraction. DLP, as a whole, doesn't care if you know what movie the visual comes from, so long as it looks great as part of a themed enviroment.
