If im not mistaken I think she is Senior Vice President of Operations of WDW.Lee was Executive VP of operations. She came up through the WDW engineering side.

:( If Erin Wallace is taking over Lee's spot then WDW is really in trouble!!!! This woman managed to just about destroy the MK when she was the VP of the park..... evil, evil witch of a woman.... not a people person at all. Even though I am no longer with Disney I have colleagues in my current profession that worked with Erin in her early days and even as she progressed. I can remember that they were completely shocked when I told them that she was VP of the MK and they will have a heart attack when they hear this. Their impression of her is that she worries too much about the numbers and not the creative and guest service side of things.

On the subject of Al and Lee.... I could not disagree more in terms of that they are the worst thing to happen to WDW. Both men are truely two of the most down to earth, kind-hearted people that you will ever meet. Lee always took the time to speak to cast members as people and not a number. Once he met you he would seek you out to say hello again if he was in your area. I had the pleasure of meeting both men on several different occassions and have nothing but good to say about them.

I agree that it would be nice to have Matt Q here at WDW but from I understand that he is very happy in California and feels that he has not accomplished what he wants to with Disneyland.

Ignore that post. Lee is one of the most amazing executives I've ever had the priveledge of working for. He's a wonderful man with wonderful advice. The Main Street Diary's are always on my weekly to-do list. Lee will be missed. He's wonderful at inspiring creation of magic.

You clearly have no knowledge on the subject.

I might add that at one of the latest cast events with Lee, he pretty much ignored the questions brought up by 2 of my friends about the problems in our department and what could be done to slove them. Seemed a little out of place for the guy, as I have heard so much good about him. But who knows, maybe it's all just a little much for him these days?

Al Weiss and Lee are fantastic people, and really care about the direction of the company. The "problem" left last October. ;)

Al is not only a great guy he is a great leader and not only does he truly love WDW he also loves Orlando and does everything in his power to make sure WDW is a very magical place for the guest and a profitable business as well.Outside of his role with the company he is very civic minded around Orlando and has done many things for the area, his church, and Rollins college.
Great guy in my book.

I really hope the Main Street Diary is continued. I really love reading it.

Lee sent out an announcement with the current msd that the MSD will continue and that other Execs will kind of take turns contributing to it. If you didn't get it and have outlook, PM me and I'll send it your way.

Thanks for the offer. The current one wasn't posted in my area, but I just looked it up on the portal.
