Leaving your profession for Disney

Hi guys,

Like many, my dream is to work for Disney in some capacity. Was curious what types of jobs I may be able to obtain with my professional background/education. Now this isn't something I'd do anytime soon, but it is something I'd like to pursue one day. Just curious right now....

My background: B.S. KIN - Human Movement Science; M.A. Teaching. I am certified to teach Science and have also taught a computer class before.

Depends on what you want to do... Is there a specific area you want to be in? I think with those qualifications... well, that's gonna get you nowhere within your fields. If you don't necessarily care what you do in a Disney capacity, aka being open to any and all jobs, even the glamorous ones lol, then you might find something. If there's something specific though, everything about you and your person is what's going to make up their minds, not necessarily your "real world" resume.

I was a firefighter/fire inspector for over 20 years. I drove the big trucks, and took that ability to drive the Disney buses. My wife stayed in retail and works in the Magic Kingdom. We both took a pay cut to work at the world, but we downsized and adjusted to make it work. We do not regret our decision one bit.
