leaving WDW

For those of you experiencing the "Disney World Blues" have you thought about moving to Orlando? I know it might not be a viable option due to $$$, but I'm here now and I can't ever think of leaving.

I always say the anticipation of a vacation is 99% of the fun. Depressed because my WDW vacation is going too fast, No. I do get depressed when my 7 day Disney cruise is going too fast. LOL

You don't sound dumb at all! I think as others here have said, we all get the "Disney blues." We've been back from our trip for a couple of weeks now and I'm over it, but starting the last day there and for a few days after, I felt a little depressed. Knowing it may be a couple years before we are able to go back made it even worse! But it'll pass!

These boards are indeed a great place to commiserate. Of course, reading these boards also makes me want to book another trip. For instance, I wasn't going to go to WDW this year, but well, All-Star Music here I come...

Its a tear jerking moment when you leave. Heck my trip is still 6 months away and I'm already dreading the fact that it will come to an end. I think that this forum is gonna help me through it, but no matter what it still sucks to leave. You have to visit Disney Stores, spend time planning the next one, watch Disney movies, etc. I think every day since about 2 months ago I have gotten on the Disney World site and just looked at all the stuff to do, or got on youtube and watched some videos. Youre not the only one who has it bad my friend so just keep your head up.

It's The Magical Express video to MCO that gets me...
I just cringe when the driver starts it up and Disney says goodbye, hope you had a good time, hope to see you again. I'd like to run forward, hijack the bus and turn it around and go back. It's like the video is taunting you... ha, ha, ha... we get to stay but you have to leave. I always feel theres never enough time, never too long, never got to do enough... My wife is fine when we get back... I'm grumpy, irritable, until I start planning the next trip.

I get your point, but lets not use the word hijack.

Commandeer, steal, appropriate, confiscate, seize control, divert ??? Come on.... am I going to be labeled a person of high risk cause I used the wrong word. ( Word Police watching) It's a forum where we often use humor, no one would think I am serious to hijack a Disney ME bus and no one would think, gee I'm gonna do that cause I read that forum and it sounded like a good thing to do.

Commandeer (nautical term) is more appropriate because it is very Jack Sparrow(y). And no, you aren't labeled high risk....yet. And I have seen some stranger $hit happen.

To be honest, I have this feeling whenever I come back from any really good trip. I came back from an awesome Canada trip a couple of weeks ago and it took some time to get over it.

I've thought about it, and I have a friend who is pretty darn sure he's going to do it. And if he does, and he's happy there...well, I just might change my address. :) I used to think about moving to California because of Disneyland, but let's face it...the only good thing about California IS Disneyland. :D:p
