I hate that feeling! Make a list as you go through the day with your kids and and try not to stress. My four year old needs her blanket, juice cup and a night light. I have forgotten on vsrious trips:socks for my son he was 8, my bra( wore a nursing tank in the car or at least would have had one), bottle with no nipple, DH forgot driver licenses, gas gift cards had been saving for a year...
All missimg items were fine and we made due! Have a Magical Vacation

When our boys were alot younger, I once forgot a nightlight. I haven't forgotten once since then.
We never travel without one, especially WDW, where one kick to a bedpost can make for a miserable time walking. Between dodging errant shoes, backpacks and souvenirs, a trip to the rest room in the middle of the night is downright dangerous without a nightlight.

Never thought of buying a pop-up hamper so we improvised with a large Disney bag from a shopping excursion. Worked quite wonderful until we went to fold our clothes from the dryer and someone took it! So off we went through the resort carrying folded clothes. I wasn't too happy and couldn't find our way to our room. Lol. The only way I knew was through the main lobby and the food court. My daughter kept saying did you hide my underwear? Please don't drop them. Lol. Aaah memories. We can laugh about it now. Lol

I used the huge plastic bag that the airline put our carseat in when we checked it. It was more than big enough.
