Leave a Legacy at Epcot

Both of my kids had theirs done for their first trips to Epcot. Now every year, it's a big thing to visit them when we first get to Epcot and I take a picture of them with their Legacy. In our eyes, it's worth every penny... :)

We did ours last September, it was free as part of our ticket package, I am looking forward to seeing it when we go back in Novemeber.

The price seems to drop every year. We did one of my wife and I, and one of the kids together. They turned out great, we had a AP discount. If they don't sell them out soon, I can only imagine how low the price will go.

what package did you get?

i booked our package back before the tickets changed over to Magic Your Way...we did the Dreammaker Package with Romance plan. says you can get a Leave a Legacy title as one of your options. (that *should* still hold true...i hope)

i actually look foward to doing ours in Oct....it'll be free due to our package. i would have liked to do the "Walk Around the World" brick but those are obsolete (right?) :veryconfu

Walk Around The World Bricks are NOT obsolete or sold out...they are merely on hold...let me explain.

When the Walk Around The World bricks were sold, while they were very successful, they were also cost prohibitive for some people. (About $90 each)
Disney got a little greedy and decided that they would sell Leave a Legacy tiles as well at $35 each and make mega $$$.

They didn't sell like hotcakes as Disney had thought they would.
So in all their infinite wisdom, they STOPPED selling Walk Around The World bricks so the only option people had was to buy Leave a Legacy tiles.

Their sales are less than stellar so now Disney is selling them at discount prices and/or giving them away as part as Disney Packages.

I was told by Disney World employees that worked in the Walk Around The World kiosks that Walk Around The World Brick sales would resume just as soon as The Leave A Legacy Tiles were all sold out.

Judging from the looks of things, it will be a long wait.
I'm glad I got a brick before they halted the program.
I visit it on every trip.

I also have a Leave a Legacy Tile that we got for free as part of a Disney packages.
I went to see it for the first time on our trip in May and it was just sooooo tiny. It seemed so insignifcent on that great big wall.
I definitely wouldn't have gotten it if it weren't free.
