Least Favorite Queue in Any Park Ever

Log Jammer at Magic Mountain. It was a terrific log flume (when the water wasn't swamp green and sticky), and I wish 6 Flags hadn't demolished it. But that queue... entirely placed underneath the ride's exposed, drippy plumbing... that was just insulting. :D

Full Throttle's queue is just as bad. It looks like a temporary rock concert. Even the path to the ride platform looks temporary with rent-a-fence around it. $6 million for the ride and $200 per month for the queue.

The "Dino-Rama" school of theming. "It's *supposed* to look cheap, everyone! Don't you get it? We're geniuses!"
(EDIT) ... and those fast food chain banners all along the queue... the non-stop advertising is why I hate... hate... HATE what Six Flags has become. They make Disney's greediest moves look like the Red Cross by comparison. I don't hate the parks, I just hate the thick, putrid layer of hucksterism Six Flags has applied to each one.

Worst Q for me hmmmm. My mind doesn’t even work in non Disney parks so I’ll habe to say Mickeys Fun Wheel off the top of my head? I reserve the right to change this after I give it some more thought.

Ehhh I kind of agree. They could fix it up just a little bit. I think it is cool that you go "under" the water.

I'm going by park for this one :cat:

Disneyland: I'm gonna say astro orbitor. It just cramps up all of tomorrowland.
iu

DCA: For sure screamin/incredicoaster. I'd say incredicoaster is even worse because at least screamin' had the excuse of not exactly being a themed ride.
iu

Magic Mountain: while all the queues are bad, I'd say the current worst is X2 simply because the twix ads were not done in a way that make them fit with the rest of the queue (I wish I had a photo for this, I found it too funny, but here's this instead)

Universal Hollywood: Do you count closed rides? If so shrek 4D. If not, minion mayhem. Shrek because you have to wait longer than you need to and mostly outside in the heat. Minion mayhem because the queue is kinda boring and sad outside of the first preshow room.

That was my favorite area of Magic Mountain with the Mooseburger Lodge.

I was in the last generation of cooks at the Mooseburger Lodge before it closed, and was in the first generation of Full Throttle Sports Bar cooks when I worked there while in high school.

Seeing the kitschy yet oddly charming backwoods theming of the High Sierra Territory get removed with the addition of Full Throttle, the removal of Mooseburger, and the removal of the giant tree at Bugs Bunny World's main entrance was a shame.

This area needed some cleaning up, some new set pieces, but it didn't need to be changed into what it is now. It's especially sad that you don't get to traverse the mountain on the Log Jammer anymore, now that whole area up there is wasted space.

Obviously, this discussion is subjective- but I found Tatsu, Ninja, and Jetstream to have far worse queues then the Log Jammer. Full Throttle's queue is especially bad.

Oh cool. So can you make a mean burger?

Ya that was a terrible move on their part.

It was the being-dripped-on-from-the-overhead-plumbling that just rubbed me the wrong way. :D And, as someone who has been visiting Magic Mtn. since its second year of operation, I can say... that queue was *always* like that--puddles and all.
