:( Why the *sigh*???

Have a look at the listings. One of them is VERY reasonable in its price.

(Yes the other one has a BIN price of $200. I can DREAM CANT I?)

As I've said before, I only bought 2 and I did not even use the cast discount option! -Yea, it does say we are not allowed to use a discount for resale items.

I think that's pretty nice of me. Not unlike others who I saw in line. Some of them were buying up 10 at a time. They had wives, kids etc, in line. One guy was YELLING at the poor CM cause she would only sell him 2 of them. It was nuts, those are the people who screw it up. This one woman she had like 8 of them in her grubby hands and there was this little kid standing right there. This kid, he wanted one and this woman had the last one. She just laughed!! REALLY! It was SICK! I mean, god some of these people, just can't be happy with getting one or two of each and that's that. I walked in there, was in and out in no time. Heck, I was nice to the CM's and the cashers, no fuss, no muss. Honestly. I wish I could have said the same for the others I saw

Just a note - before official openin, Mouse Gear was only suppose to have registers open but you could get merch from the kiosk and tromp over the MG to purchase.

I got two shirts, felt bad pasing everyone waiting in the line, went to MG, saw a Figgy on a shelf - grabbed him - and went to check out.

A little more organization for these sorts of events would be nice, but its understandable with how rarely they happen.

The pin line was nuts, i'm verry happy to not be a pin person.

I guess some people will pay that price.. if they want it bad enough.

Not me though... I think I paid $12 for my figment plush like 3-4 years ago... good enough for me.:shrug:

I guess my comment wasnt directed at you personally; it's just always been sort of a sore spot with me when people go to events just to sell limited stuff on ebay for $$ (but i see you are a cast member and didnt exactly have those intentions) What bugs me is the people like in your story above. I cant believe someone yelled at the cashiers over it! @_@

Figgy in the park cost $28, plus tax. So, $55 per figgy for time and effort isnt bad (and he was hard to get, i just happened to notice one by itself on a shelf - and i got him before the park even opened)

That actually does not seem like that bad of a markup to me. At Christmas, what do you think they will be selling for? Oh yeah, someone has the maps for $5.00 a piece. I just want a xxl shirt.

Oh I'm not saying its not... plus its LE and numbered... and special for the 25th.... yadda yadda yadda. I get it. ;)

Shame those merch hogs had to scream at the CM's and send their children in to bogart more. Blah. It makes me fear for humanity. You'd think it was a bread line in former Soviet Russia... but even then... I think those Soviets were more civil than the merch hogs..lol.

Thats what bugs me, when people attend these events simply because all they see in their eyes is green. Most don't even care what the event is really for.

I got 1002. When I saw the number I went back to see of 1001 was there, but the CM said that they weren't in any order.

I had to leave at 2:30, but had a great morning!

The International Gateway shop was very civil. I didn't even know about the Figments until I saw the person behind me had one. Since my wife is a big Figment fan and there were two on the shelf next to me I bought her one as a surprise. My mom really liked it so she got one too. She got hers around noon and the CM told her it was the last one in the store. Apparently they decided at the last minute to sell a handful of the shirts and Figments at the shop but didn't promote it since they didn't want a rush at the back gate. At least that's what they told my mom.

I guess we were really lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

Almost forgot, I got #574 and my mom got #822.
