Lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon

I'm intrigued how you knew this? Surely they weren't standing on the side peeing into the water? It's bad enough avoiding the various water squirting props without people adding to it!
My guess was that since he relieved himself he assumed others were doing the same.

I mean HOW ELSE would he know people were doing this?? Manual check?

There is so much sand at Typhoon vs Blizzard, I'm not a big fan of sand at water parks. But in a heartbeat I'll take the lazy river at Typhoon over Blizzard.
I never compared sand amounts! Good to know!

I don't really see much difference between the lazy rivers. I don't like that sneezing guy at Blizzard, but kids love him. Other than that, they're both awesome in my book. :)

Heading for the great escape.
Do you have to exit the river and then re-enter after you've made a complete loop or is it just a float until you don't want to type deal? Thanks.

I float like a turd in a people soup until my bladder or prune like skin force my departure, or until the current Mrs Sak finally loses it after being pushed and held under every available cold water stream.

I like Typhoon's lazy river better than Blizzard just for the theming, it is pretty. On a whole I find Typhoon prettier and transports me more to a Florida retreat. Plus I am a big fan of the wave pool. Blizzard is wonderful for their winter theming, no doubt they saw that success and themed the mini golf's tranquil/winter just because of the waterparks.

Yet over the later years of traveling with older kids we wound up at Blizzard, they liked the slides at Blizzard much more and I can float and have fun in any lazy river any where themed or not, I really love them.

We love the lazy river at TL! Truthfully, never been on it at BB?? Not sure why? Prob b/c I was so infatuated with all of the slides at BB - only been once - that I didn't have time to be "lazy."

The only issue I have with TL (and I understand that this issue could arise at any park, it just so happened to arise at TL and now, despite having been to TL at least a dozen times, I'm forever jaded), was that when we took my daughter for the first time to WDW - she was 2 1/2 - we went to TL and took her to the kiddie section. In the water for the baby-tube ride was a baby snake! just swimming around!!!!! My DH grabbed it out of the water, away from my DD, and chucked it over the bushes. Well, not 5 minutes later - after we'd packed up all of our stuff to head out of that area - who else but MAMA SNAKE! comes slithering out from behind the bushes! Luckily, a cast member was there by now with all of the fuss from the baby snake, and took care of mama snake! But, ever since then, I've been hesitant to return to TL...:jawdrop:

Although I spend a lot of time in the water parks, I guess I never spent that much time looking at the bushes surrounding the lazy rivers. They looked pretty much the same to me.

Of course, I never paid much attention to which park had more sand, lol.

I will have to pay more attention in the future!

I would have to agree with Gabe1 TL feels way more tropical. We get enough winter in the North East, that I don't need fake snow in Florida.
I must admit that BB has a better slide or two though.....
