Late to Be Our Guest

I'll be going to MK on July 18 and I just got reservations for BOG for 9:25. I plan to see Happily ever after before dinner and it's scheduled for 9 pm, so assuming it's around 20 minutes that should give me just about time to get to BOG.

So my question is: what if I run a few minutes late? I read elsewhere they'll most likely sit you up to 15 minutes before your reservation time, but since BOG closes at 9:30 does it mean I won't be able to enter if I get there after 9:30?

Technically you are allowed to check in 15 minutes late @ a dining reservation w/ out penalty. Keep in mind BOG often has a line to get to the check in point so I wouldn't push it too close. If anything just start walking that way towards the end and miss the last couple minutes of it.

Also keep in mind what @figmentfan423 said and frequently check on park scheds before your trip and it doesn't hurt to continue trying to change your reservation to a time you know you can make it there and watch HEA comfortably.

I had know idea showtimes were expected to change. How far in advance should I know the actual schedule, or can they keep changing it up to the last minute?

Is it possible they'll extend park hours on that day and BOG will also close later, or it's always 9:30 regardless?

Disney can change park hours up until the day of. They don't do it that last minute often, but it can happen. The hours you see about a month ahead should be solid.

Not 100% sure but I think if they extend park hours they also extend BOG.

Park hours were extended the day of (in MK) before last and the day before on our last trip, both summer vacations. No matter what time the park closed Wishes always went off at 10. Hope that helps

I would recommend trying to get an early reservations using touring plans reservation finder. It has saved me many times lol

Park hours frequently change, but show times generally do not once published.

So basically, anything can change and I should try to book a table for before HEA, right?

Will Once Upon a Time continue after Wishes ends? Is it usually before or after the fireworks show?

So HEA will most likely be at 9 even if they extend park hours, is that it?

What about Once Upon a Time? Is it usually before park closure? Times for it are not announced yet.

Yes. Show times rarely change once scheduled.

As you see Once Upon a Time is not even scheduled yet. It is only showing through June 3rd. Seemingly all at 9:45pm. Wait to see what time the pick for mid June and you likely will have a good idea on time. This show is newer as of this past fall (though a replacement for another) so I never like to assume tones with no solid summer history
