The good news is, if you don't already know, Bell Services at your hotel will hold your bags when you DO check out. If you're going to the airport via Disney Magical Express, they'll handle everything. If you're driving home or getting home by other means than the airport, they'll hold your bags until you come get them, they'll My recommendations are one of these three (well, two and a half). They're not the best, but neither am I...Is it possible? Our flight isn't till 6PM and I was thinking of hitting EPCOT for a last hurray at the paks. I'd like to come back to the room to freshen up before checking out, probably around 2PM.
Possible, not likely or no way?
The latest check out we have received is 1pm at pofq, both times in September.
We had about an hour to kill last time, after we were cleaned up/checked out.. We gave our luggage to bellhop, grabbed some ice cream and walked around the resort/ sat by the pool..
1pm was the latest checkout they offered to us at POFQ in February.
This is just a gut suspicion, don't quote me. But I suspect your ability to get a 1pm checkout depends on how many people are checking out of that particular resort that particular day and how many people requested late check-out before you do.From the posts here this seems to be common....is that for real? That much of a later check out could be total bonus!![]()
Yep, and another factor is number of checkins. The decision is housekeeping's to make. They have to adjust the staff workloads to aim at having all rooms turned over by the listed checkin time, which is 3:00pm. So don't plan on any extension because 1:00pm leaves little time and certainly not 2:00pm which really leaves no time. In the business, after checkout time the room no longer is yours but really belongs to the next party and the hotel has to be ready for them just like they were for you when you checked in.This is just a gut suspicion, don't quote me. Makes sense. After all, half of the resort could be checking out the same day you are, but if only half of those rooms are booked with new guests, they may be able to cut you more slack than if they were 95% or more booked up.Yep, and another factor is number of checkins. We specifically asked for it and I can't say the CM was thrilled about giving it to me but she did. We were scheduled for our return DME at 2:10 so I wanted to go back to the room and grab our stuff prior to after going to MK in the am.From the posts here this seems to be common....is that for real?
