Late BoG ressies.....

Anyone else unable to get any reservations for BoG in September beyond 6pm? I can't find a single one from the 8th through the 17th. We changed our bounceback given that it seems they are starting the MNSSHP early in the month like they used to. So, today is my ADR day and of course the picking are slim for BoG. I was able to grab 5 days of it, but none beyond 6pm. Something up with that?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
This is probably because of the MNSSHP most likely because they don't leave the restaurants open much past 7pm when the party starts that you have to have a seperate ticket for. Try on Saturdays, Monday's, or Wednesday's because those nights don't normally have parties but as you noticed may already be full as well. Keep trying. :)

On top of the original question, if you get a 1030pm reservation will the beast still meet that late?

Yes the Beast is there until everyone leaves or they will make an announcement if he will be leaving or a break for you to go get in line for a picture. :)

Thanks! I've taken a yearly picture there with Beast since it has opened. Was worried since this year I couldn't get a "normal" dinner time but 1030 will work.

Your very welcome!! He should still be there but I have not eaten at that restaurant that late before. (Latest for us at BOG was 8:50pm and we got seated at 9:30pm and met the beast around 10:45-11pm and the park closed at 12) Disney usually at any other character type meals always had the characters there even for late ressies because thats what is considered included in your meal and they don't want to disappoint anyone. Also keep trying for an earlier time if you want one but I really think you should be fine. ;)

Also, keep checking! Sometimes they'll release new blocks of ADRs. That happened a couple of times when I was planning for my MNSSHP trip last October. And people always cancel! Granted, I was trying for breakfast, not dinner, which is much easier to get, but up until two or three weeks before my trip, I managed to get an ADR for every morning of my trip.

Last night I canceled 3 of 5 ressies there. We picked other places to try. I kept our two reservations for early dinners at the Halloween parties. Twice is nice and good enough for us.

Here's the lineup for now:

September 8th- Liberty Tree Tavern dinner at 4:30 pm. I was hoping for BoG, as this is our anniversary date, but since I didn't change our bounceback until noon I was well past when the early birds had picked over the reservations. Yesterday was our 180 day mark, so I'm luck I got anything at all at BoG!

September 9th- San Angel Inn dinner at 6 pm. This is in my top 3 places overall. We always get a water side table.

September 10th- Sci-Fi Dine In Theater lunch at 12:35 pm. I love the atmosphere. So much that Amy calls me a dork because I think it's awesome.

September 11th- Be Our Guest dinner at 4:40 pm. Early dinner before the Halloween party starts.

September 12th- Mama Melrose dinner at 5:35 pm. We've been here twice before and Amy LOVES fettuccine. I'm a steak guy at heart, so we both win!

September 13th- Be Our Guest dinner at 4 pm. Another early dinner before the Halloween party.

September 14th- Rainforest Cafe dinner at 5:15 pm. We always end our AK day by stopping here for dinner on the way out. Love it!

September 15th- La Hacienda de San Angel Inn dinner at 8:30 pm. I tried to time it right so that we'll be seated and starting to eat when Illuminations starts. That's the plan at least....as I plan on requesting a window table, so hopefully we'll at least be seated by then. Of course, they officially close at 9 so that shouldn't be a problem.

September 16th- Crystal Palace breakfast at 7 am. Man, it's gonna be tough getting everyone up and ready for this. I was going to go with 8 am, but it's an EMH day so I wanted to get in before the opening crowds arrive.

Well, this should be interesting, as we will have our newborn with us. So, I'll have to get used to having that fifth spot taken and carrying him into the places in his car seat.
