Late August Crowds?

I can't state definitively about night waits, as I'm always doing IllumiNations (or martinis in the Rose & Crown!). But overall the waits have been much longer than before. I usually get a FP or 2 for it. It's not always needed, but it's nice to have. I don't want to wait 30 minutes for SE if I don't have to.

Agreed. Well, I may nab a couple now.

My only problem in late August is the heat, thus my alias.
I just can not handle 95 with 100% humidity but when we go during this time, we go in the morning, when it starts getting really hot and humid do something inside maybe a pool, and go back in the evening after the daily storms.

Should be pretty crowded ... but you will still have fun.

Things have changed over the last 5 years or so. Now SE has at least a 30 minute queue for most of the day. Like you, I used to enjoy hopping on in the late afternoon with no wait at all. Sadly, that's not the case any more.

Yeah a few years ago we were in line at Spaceship Earth and the line was really long and we were asking a CM what was wrong because we had literally never seen it that way and go 3 times a year. The CM said "I have no idea what caused the line to get this long. I've never seen it like this." Now though it's like you say. Lined up pretty much all day. I personally think FP+ might be to blame for this stuff. People basically go stand in line somewhere else until their FP time rolls around.
