last week in August

I'm thinking about going to WDW the last week of August. I've never been to WDW in August. I was told by a CM at the MK that it was a very quiet week. I'd love some feedback from people who have gone to WDW at this time.

It's a good time to go, we went last week August/first week September. The parks weren't too crowded and the temperatures were a little cooler, if you can say that at all!!! :lol:

Other pluses, if you stay into September are HHN at USF/IOA.

yup, it is pretty quiet, compared to teh summer, including college students. that is when most kids are back in school! definatly a good time to go.

It's really hot and then it rains really hard for an hour or so, cools down, and then starts the nasty cycle all over again. The last week in August is fun if you like to play in the rain!

The last week in August was a great time to go.

It's hot, but the crowds are very reasonable.

It's already cooler than July because of the rain. And yes, the lines aren't bad at all. It's very quiet because most kids are back in school. That's when we usually go down because NY schools start late. It's a great time!

IT IS A GREAT TIME TO GO .THAT AND THE FIRST WEEK IN SEPT.. IF YOU CAN PUT UP WITH THE HEAT ITS NOT BAD AT ALL.....WE'RE GOING AUG 30TH THIS YEAR.....WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO:wave:

But that is almost every day of the summer.
