Hi guys, my husband and I have been to disney numerous times, but we love september! Thats when we also go, but we are trying to do a different time, thinking about last week of april or first week of may? What are the crowds like? I know the flower festival will be going on, anyone like that? Also when is the rumored date for frozen ride to be open? I know they said early 2016, but love to be there when it does! any advice would be great thanks

We went the 1st week of May this year & had pleasant weather the 1st half of the week(low 80's) & ended the week with temps in the low 90's & high humidity. There was a cheer comp at the beginning of the week & we saw several other school groups the rest of the week. We liked the F&G Festival but, prefer the F&W Festival/Halloween time.

We are booked for POR from 5/3-5/10/16 for our first trip. From what I am seeing, early May should not be too busy according to crowd calendars on several sites. Hope that is right!

We actually go both times every year. I'm involved in a big event in mid April, so my "reward" for myself is for us to go to Disney usually the last week in April or first week of May. Both are good, and both are very comparable to early September, which is the other time we go – for our anniversary. For what it's worth, we usually also go early January and once for the food and wine either October or November. Always Low traffic times with good hotel deals.

Yes – we make it a point to go to both of them when we have an annual pass, which is every other year. This year, they added a lot more food to the flower and Garden Festival, so it was very comparable to the food and wine festival as well.

Just want to chime in and say that Pop Century is amazing. We stayed there last December (myself, husband & 4 year old). Buses were efficient, the grounds & landscaping are beautiful, and the staff was great- always so friendly and helpful. We plan on staying there again next fall.

My answer would be first week in May for F&G Festival and SW Weekend, if that is your thing.

But with Season of the Force festival in early 2016, we don't know if SWW is continuing or not.

by the way how do you like pop century? we were gonna try that this time. never been there
We've stayed at POP twice now & like it. We like it better than the All-Stars but, not quite as much as AOA. If you don't spend alot of time in your room the values are good. We pretty much just use them to sleep & maybe a quick swim. So, it's all good! Oh, & the food courts at POP & AOA are pretty good too.
