Last two weeks in August

We are probably going to be booking a last minute deal this year, I was just wondering what the crowds/ weather are like during the last two weeks in August? we usually go around September 6-20th as the prices are usually dramatically lower around then as most schools start around the 5th in the UK, but are looking at as many options as possible at this point.

Crowds are decently light with a lot of people already back to school or preparing to return. The weather can be absolutely smothering though. That being said, most of the queues are either completely or mostly in covered or air conditioned areas, and with some preparations (spray fan bottles, neck cooling towels, etc.) you can have a great time even with the heat and humidity. When I was a kid our trips to WDW were primarily in the summer, and we all survived :) .

Sounds good to me :) the hotter the better, we don't see the sun that often where I live so I like to make the most of it while i'm away!

I've been to WDW during the final full week of August before. Bringing ponchos is a must. The only concern is going to be Weekends at MK. The crowds aren't too bad otherwise.

That's when we usually go. Yes, it's hot (which happens when you're in Orlando and not Anchorage). Yes, it's crowded (everybody loves pixie dust). Who cares - you're at WDW!!!
See ya then!
