Large party dining question

2 part question

1. Is there an accurate list of max party sizes allowed at dining locations in the park

2. Where would you go if you wanted to have one large group (20 people) seated all together?

For the second prong of your question, I would look to restaurants with private rooms. There are many, but Citricos, Jiko, The Wave and Trattoria al Forno are some of the first that spring to mind. The day after our wedding, we made a breakfast reservation for 20 at what was then Kouzzina (now Trattoria al Forno) by calling the dining line and inquiring about reservations for large groups. We were put in touch with the Boardwalk directly, but were still given a traditional ADR number once we were scheduled.

Mama Melrose at HS comes to mind - in that I have been in a 20+ group there several times with park tours.
I've also seen 20+ groups seated together at Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge.

Our large group was treated beautifully at CP. It isn't one of our usual stops, but they didn't bat an eye at our 20+ reservation, and we were seated within 10 minutes of arrival. The staff and characters could not have been more accommodating, and each member of our group felt special, ages 3 to 70!

One thing we found while traveling with a group of 12 is that if we scheduled breakfast at open or dinner at the beginning of the dinner service we were seat almost immediately as they did not have to wait for tables to clear. As @Goofyque' mentioned CP was nice because we got in the park before open and were seated immediately.

When I made reservations for 14, I had to call and in some cases (Chefs de France) I had to fax in a reservation request. I second the Wave....the wall of smaller tables and banquette seating would allow for a big group like that. Maybe Skippers Canteen? I'm thinking of big open feel restaurants....

A related question:

We are travelling with 4 or 5 other families/groups (to be confirmed), totalling 14-18 people. Right now, four of the groups booked vacation packages and we've made separate dining reservations. On three days, we all have separate reservations for dinner at the same restaurant at the same time. It just kind of happened this way as more people decided to go.

The days we want to eat together are:
1. March 4 - Mama Melrose's (and we are all hoping for the Fantasmic Dinner Package when it gets released...)
2. March 5 - Biergarden
3. March 6 - Tiffins

If we all want to eat together, should we 1) cancel the multiple reservations and make one big reservation, 2) call and ask that they somehow seat the reservations together?

Thanks!

The private room at Citrico's only holds 12-14.

Mama and tiffins do not have seating to sit you all together.

One of our dinners is 3 small reservations which Disney made for me over the phone. They said it would be okay. But if we all want to sit close to each other I'm guessing we will have to wait longer.

I plan to call the morning before to make sure the restaurant is ready for us.

I'll let you know how it goes. We will be there tomorrow!
