Large Group - How to get to WL without hopping to a park?

So we are taking a large group of about 50-60 people next May. We have requested our guests to stay at either POFQ or Pop/AOA. Does anyone know if we could arrange for Disney to shuttle everyone from the two resorts over to Wilderness Lodge to do a breakfast with everyone on one of the days? This would prevent them having to fill up MK busses to them hop a WL bus to get to the hotel for the meal. ~thanks

I don't think tying up a bus like that would be too fair to the other guests.

The only time Disney arranges transportation for large groups is most likely for some special event, like a wedding. And it ain't cheap. And Mears probably isn't, either.

Why not carpool? If you have a dining reservation at WL, there should be no problem parking at the resort.

We don't know how many will have cars to carpool. Plus, cost is not an issue. I was just asking the boards if there were any other options anyone previously used. I wanted to make as minimal of an impact to other guests. Some of the comments (not yours) make it sound that my guests are less worthy than guests not in my party.

I wonder if it would just be easier to reserve a restaurant at a park for the group.

It would be easier to do it at a park, given that it requires only one transportation leg instead of two, but I wouldn't necessarily change the plan. Just be sure everyone knows the best way to get there (e.g., bus to MK, boat or bus to WL). There are always a lot of people headed a lot of the same places at WDW: there's no reason to feel uncomfortable about the fact that your party is going to be taking up more space on Disney buses than the usual. Unless your group members are all on scooters -- then you may have a problem. :)

I agree, it might just be easier at a park than WL. And we picked the beginning of May so it is not a peak time of year with buses at a prime.

And we will have zero scooters... LOL maybe one or two strollers at the max. thanks!!

Going from resort to resort can be a pain when you are using Disney transport. I always take cabs, but that would be tough for a large group.

I think you have the right idea with a meal in the park.

That makes a lot of sense to change to a park instead of a resort.

If yall decide to stick with WL, I think the first place I'd ask for suggestions is the restaurant, they're the ones who probably want the business.

Personally if i were the restaurant I would do nothing unless there were 50+ at a single hotel. 25-30 people isn't really a huge deal for Disney buses.
