Have to join a conference call on my laptop while at Hollywood studios. Does anyone know where I could sit and charge up to do this?

I will preface this by saying that I typically do better when I'm working in "busier" environments than when I'm in quiet environments

I have had success in Backlot Express before, though it can be a bit louder, so it depends on what you need to do. If you are comfortable outside (there is some shade), the old Incredibles area (the even older entrance to Toy Story Mania) is typically pretty quiet and I believe I have found outlets over there.

If you want to stay in the area but have time to go elsewhere, I have also been able to get work done at the Boardwalk and Yacht/Beach Club, and a little bit further, but I have skylined to Art of Animation / Pop Century and worked in their food courts.

How long do you think the conference call would be? Do you think its of a length that your going to need to be plugged into power, or can your computer internal battery handle the time? Not being tied to an outlet will give you more flexibility/options i think .

I possible and you are staying on property I would go back to your hotel if possible. UNLESS you just have to be present and show up. Because I dont know many places that are going to be quiet enough and empty enough for you to communicate and have conversations. IF its role call only or they just see who attends, you will be fine anywhere, and your battery shouldnt need to be plugged in for that amount of time if youre only using a headset. Unless you need a dock in addition to your headset, another monitor, mouse, and keyboard and then i would just not do it.

While not at DHS, last month when we were at Disney my wife had meetings to do on zoom. I took her upstairs at Pinocchio Village Hause, and it was excellent. It had not yet opened for lunch service, and it was nice and quiet for the 2 hours she was on the meeting.

Good to know. Frankly I assumed the Wi-Fi in the parks was too crowded and crappy to work for a zoom call.

I have done several Team's meetings from the park, some on a Laptop, many just on my cellphone, never had a problem with connectivity. Noise can be a problem, usually from the swearing coming from my mouth on why there had to be a Teams meeting on something that could have been handled by an email.....

Second floor of pizzerizzo for the win.

On a side note. When I worked DCP and had to do homework on my laptop, I went to the American Adventure pavilion at Epcot

I too would be worried a bit about noise and the reliability of the wi-fi. Though I personally didn't have to connect, I've been with family who did need to connect for work.

Is Pizzerizzo always open now? Previously it was open on a seasonal basis, but maybe it is always open now that the parks are busier.

If it works, then so be it.

Depending on the nature of the work call, leaving the park for an Epcot area hotel might be a good option. You should have no problem finding a mid-day a quiet spot. The Swan is especially geared to business guests.

Also, should you need additional services: the BC/YC, the Swan, and the Dolphin all have business centers open to anyone.
