Well, the Pistons are my favorite team in the Eastern Conference, and the Lakers are my all-time favorite team, so I'm really going to like this series.

GO LAKERS! :sohappy:

Really, I hate both teams.
I picked the Lakers in a pool so I'm rooting for them. (For the first time EVER.)
As a Sixers fan, I hate the lakers, and I'm not very happy with Larry Brown for leaving us either.

Lakers all the way and I think it will be a 6th game win. :sohappy:

We're just about to start our Laker party. People in my neighborhood have their laker flags on their cars and hanging out their windows. Go LAKERS!!! :sohappy:

So, they just showed Michael Eisner on TV watching the game, he is sitting next to David Stern's Wife, and David Stern is on the far side of his wife. Michael and David were talking about something, and Stern's wife looked so miserable.

I found it kind of funny.

Yeah, I found that quite amusing! She could not have looked anymore disinterested than she did.

Not much else amusing in the game, though. I told my son that the Lakers didn't have it midway through period One. They were just flat on both ends of the floor.

Oh well.....this is why it's best of seven, and not a winner-take-all.

I gotta go with the pistons. My uncle is their strength and conditioning coach.

If you look at the pistons bench, he sits on the floor and helps stretch out the players...(what a fun job:rolleyes: )

The Lakers in Six.

Last time Phil Jackson went up against Larry Brown in the finals they lost game 1 to Philadelphia then won the next four.

I think the pistons are a little different team than the sixers...they only had the answer. Detroit has a stiffling defense...let shaq play, and stop everyone else from scoring... shaq is gonna be hard pressed to score 70 pts on his own every night.

Epcot is my fav

I agree with you, Sean23. Lakers have that killer instinct and they're not about to let the championship go. It's lights out for the Pistons  .

The Lakers get my nomination for the WORST name in history...after all there are NO LAKES IN L.A.

It's almost as bad as putting the Jazz in Utah--where they don't allow music.

Ok, the Lakers win game #2, but I gotta tell you that I thought the officiating was horrible--on both ends. Guys getting grabbed, guys getting knocked down, and then they call some ticky-tack hand-check fouls. This is why I really don't like the NBA as a whole anymore. Why can't we get back to the "good old days" when games were 124-119 for final scores? Teams can't shoot free throws and very few can hit jump shots anymore.
