I don't know about the lagoon, but I know DL can fit in the parking lot at the TTC. It is a very small park.

WHOA!! :eek: I mean I knew its smaller than MK and much more condensed, but wow....

I didn't know that...its amazing what they do with such a small space...

ah space...the reason I love wdw...its such a great place...and they have more room to add to it...

World Showcase lagoon

World Showcase Lagoon

Depth: 15 feet

Volume: Approx. 133 million gallon

Circumference: 1.24 Miles (2 Kilometers)

Any geometry whiz who wants to use the circumference to figure out the other dimesions??

Recall, pi is about 3.14159 .....

This might sound strange, but a teacher said from my school that Disneyland can fit in the WHOLE school property. Including baseball, football, fields. I mean the whole campus.

O.K., that approximation is close enough for our purposes here, but no one has stepped up and told us how far across it is - any takers?

Correct, but with an irregular-shaped item such as this I see no clear cut diameter. :confused: :veryconfu

get half of the area and square it and i think thats ur diameter!:sohappy:

maybe, but i could be wrong

Whoa, that is pretty compact.

I know very little about DL and the whole west coast for that matter. What impresses me about the picture is the mature trees in the park. Anyone know when this picture was taken?

Well since it is irregular, you really can't get a clear radius or diameter because it will change depensing on where you "draw" it from.

Based on the numbers in this thread, the circumference is 1.24 miles. Since C=2(pi)r you can sort of find the diameter.

1.24=2(3.14)r

r=.19745229....

So that would make the diameter .394904429 (miles i assume)

I'm pretty sure that would be correct, but I could have slipped up in my math...so don't hold me to this.
