Lactose Intolerance Question

Hi All,
I will be traveling to the world with family in September and one of my nephews (2yrs old) has a severe lactose intolerance issue and I am wondering if anyone has any advice or recommendations. They are going to be on the quick service dining plan and I am assume that even the quick service chefs are good about requests, but are there many snack items available for this issue (ie. no dairy at all used as an ingredient or in the preparation of the food)?

Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

All the quick service places should have an allergy book which will list all the ingredients. You will need to ask for it, and it will sometimes take longer for the food if they are preparing it specially. If you can, try to eat at off times so it's not so busy.
I'm not sure specifically about snack options without dairy. Many places have fresh fruit. I think I've seen hummus in some places. You can certainly bring snacks into the park with you. It may be easier than having to check the ingredients on everything.

I am also lactose intolerant, and I have no issues at all eating at Disney! All the restaurants (quick and table service) have allergy menus that you can look at and pick from that have yummy options! As far as snacks go, you can 100% find snacks that have no dairy, including Dole Whip, at Disney! Prepackaged items will have ingredients listed on the back, and items like dole whip will have an ingredient book at the stands they are sold at. Disney has so many snack items that it's not hard at all to find something he will like!

You will have to bring your own Milk Disney does not carry lactose free milk. We are also going in September. both my kids have food allergies. And I will be bring the milk for my daughter 18 months, and different special milk for son. who has alot of food allergies. But every place is pretty good about trying to accommodate. I think i read somewhere that for table servies meals call them in advance to they can prepare the food for allergies.

I went to Disney twice a year for eleven years before I knew Dole Whips were diary free!! So I am making up for it now!
