Illegal immigration seems very high right now. Wonder why we still have such a labor shortage.

It would have been lower but that still waiting for that promised check to build that whatcha ma call it. . Did it bounce?

Remember when Disneyland was forced to raise their base pay to $15 because of strikes and Dr. Monroe. Now they are behind on base again. They probably wish Walt built in Idaho where the minimum wage is still $7.25 which is the same as the Federal minimum wage. It has been that way since 2009. Kids under 20 only get $4.25 in Idaho.

Obviously neither of us can prove a hypothetical but nothing exists in a vacuum.

This isn’t about minimum wage anyways. It’s about f&b.

Since F&B is suffering much more (from my limited observations) than other minnimum wage jobs such as attractions, custodial, front gate, etc. - I’m not buying the pay being the major factor although it may indeed be that F&B jobs are less desirable.

Since the high of 2007, it's actually been slowly declining. It's great filler for the 24 hour news channels when they don't have other stuff to yell about.
