This has been the biggest change to the parks since the app came out. It seems to me that many people are glued to their phones and think they are "beating the system" if the phone says a wait is "short". Just like Tom said, that is what the wait time WAS, you needed to be there then. I tend to head to rides that have a "high" wait time, because I know the app-ers won't be anywhere near there. With how busy the parks have been this year, you are always going to have to wait, but I would never bet on making it to a lunch reservation using the posted times.
