Are you not liking breast feeding?
It's not for everyone.
If you're not happy with it, talk to your doctor.

You'll get a schedule that works for you soon. It takes a while. But it's important to find "Krystyna" time in there.

I'm having "me" time right now...

I've got to BF because of the endometriosis. It's this or drugs, and frankly it's better for her. It's just the every two hours thing that gets me down. I can't get anything done! I won't go into details, but it's very time consuming.. :brick:

It's really one of the most difficult parts of motherhood. I know how depressed (and sore!) I got with DD, and since she had so many allergies that we didn't ealize, she was feeding constantly and not gaining. Fortunately, our pediatrician, who I absolutely adored, convinced me to switch her to formula, and it was the best thing I ever did! She was healthier than most kids, and Dave was able to help me with the feedins, which made a huge difference.

Just my two cents....

You said a mouthful!
So to speak. . . :lookaroun

My goal is 6 months, and then to reevaluate then... I'd hate to quit. It's just that there's soooooooo much guilt surrounding how you feed your child these days. it's tough not to succumb one way or the other.

You, too? I cried for hours the day I found out I had it, and that I might never conceive... but miracles definitely happen!!!
BTW, hi guys!
I was reading to catch up on what was going on tonight and almost fell off my seat when I read Bunny's post.
Hang in there w/the BF'ing, Bunny. I have to agree w/Betty, it's not for everyone. My son was a month early, and I tried so hard to make it work for him.... but after 6 weeks it was so hard, and I was miserable... I know there's so much guilt involved when it comes to BF'ing or not. You are not less of a Mom if you don't.

Steph, what the heck happened to Dumbo?? I looked at your avatar and I was like, how did the grafitti artists get to Steph's avatar?? So I looked closer and was like, o-kay.

I'm more of a pro football fan myself. GO PATRIOTS!!!!!

Edit: I was typing this when Bunny wrote "there's so much guilt involved..." Been there, done that!!

Ok, can't help in this area. I'll be back later.

I am so happy for you Krystyna. I know you'll get through this and then turn into the worry wart of a (pick any age, kid, preteen, teen, young adult, little girl getting married, grandmother). Boy time flies.

Bunny - I know exactly how you feel - I was so afraid of letting her and myself down, but I know now that it was the best thing for her. The first week or two are important for the baby, and you've done the right thing, but don't feel that you've failed if you choose not to continue. It's far better for her and for you to be healthy and content.

Edit: and whatever you do, don't talk to the LaLeche people! I called when I was having difficulties and considering bottle feeding, and the lady I talked with made me feel like such a horrible mother. Mind you she was still BFing her 5 year-old son.

Hey Kristin! Yeah, I think I need to "adjust" the helmet a bit. I did it on Paint at work when I was bored.

How was your day?

She was born one year to the day from when I had surgery to remove an endometrioma from my right ovary. Two different doctors told us that we couldn't have kids without outside help. Miracles indeed do happen!

But the BF nazis... ugh the guilt!

I know... I think I'm going to stick with it... As soon as I get a routine going, I'm hoping things will be better.
