We have booked a bounce back for the week of labor day this year, arriving on Wednesday 2 days after labor day. Anyone been down there around a similar time to advise on crowd size? We have flexibility to move a week later if necessary. Thanks in advance

Good time to go. We went this exact week last year and had a good time. Operating hours are a little short, but that makes time for outside-of-park activities! It's still summer hot and humid, but it's Florida. :p

It is one of the slowest weeks in disney, crowds wise! You do have to endure the heat/humidity and lots of September rain but for those low crowd levels it may be worth it. I go in November because I cannot take the heat and rain almost every day otherwise I'd be right there with ya! I remember seeing pictures of the weeks after that one and later Sept and the parks were very crowded.

Went Tues-Sun after Labor Day in 2013.

Pro: Zero crowds. I mean... Ain't nobody there.
Con: Some quick-service restaurants and shops will have limited hours or close early.
Pro: Easier to get restaurant reservations for hot spots.
Con: Hot. Oh dear sweet lord, it's hot. So hot.
Pro: Did I mention the low crowds?
