Labor Day

our last two trips were the first week in Sept. and the Second week in Sept. Respectively. Choosen because the are considered the two slowest weeks of the year. (at Disney)

Line waits were at the longest 15 to 20 min. (usually at peak times)
Ps were made before hand just to be sure we had spots , usually we would change them the day of with out a problem, also lots of times we would ask if we could get in earlier than our ps and this also was not a problem.

Also lots of walking room during the day, The last trip was in 2000 and they still ran an Enight. I got a picture of the castle right down mainstreet with not a single person in the frame.

I don't rember labor day being any different, I do belive we avoided mk for the three day holiday though.

If you look at the pic you'll notice that there aren't that many people lining up for the parade even though its 5 minutes before 3:00. Normally its much more packed than that on a busy day.

I don't think that Labor Day is as busy as Memorial Day, but it's not going to be empty.

I've always found that Labor Day's crowds are easier to manage if you have a good plan and take advantage of FP.

Are you staying onsite? If you are, you can use early entry which should help.

I've been at labor day twice and the crowds usually aren't too bad. The parks will be more crowded than the rest of September and possibilly the last week of August, but they should be lighter than the summer holidays (July 4th, memorial day, etc.). I think labor day is a great time to go, especially if you have to work around school schedules or something. When we went the first time, it was the first non summer trip we'd taken and really enjoyed ourselves. I agree that over the weekend you may want to steer clear of the magic kingdom because that will probably be the busiest park over the holiday weekend. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your vacation.
