La Tienda Encantada

Anyone know what's in the back of La Tienda Encantada? The wooden staircase, wheelchair lift and ornate door in the back of the place caught my attention. The door at the top of the staircase has the number "261" next to it.

Wow. Looks like I've stumped the forums with this mystery door. It's obviously not just an employee entrance. Surely others have noticed the stairway and little elevator in the shop and wondered what it's for.

I think that is a general purpose area. If I remember correctly, back when WS was doing the masks that kids got to add a stamp and paper figure to in each country, I believe the one for Mexico was up in that area.

It was in that room, but you didn't have to go up into that area. That's been blocked off for a while. I recall my parents saying there used to be some sort of cultural thing up there.

Yeah I remember coloring the masks years ago, it took place right in the middle of the store. Maybe there is some kind of employee lounge, or even something for El Rio del Tiempo/The Three Caballeros
